# Inverter online vs offline in the app

“Online” in consumer apps usually means **recent telemetry reached the vendor cloud**. Gaps can be communication or cloud-side; this site does not diagnose networks or hardware.

For **Fox ESS**, link **Fox Cloud** in **[Check My Solar](https://checkmy.solar)** and watch live and historical values there.
