# Why solar shows zero at night

Solar panels only produce significant power in daylight. Overnight, **Fox Cloud** will normally show **zero or very low** PV output for linked systems.

That pattern is expected in **[Check My Solar](https://checkmy.solar)** because it displays what Fox Cloud reports.
